A Sacred Time of Remembrance and Renewal
“This do in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19
At Acreage SDA Church, Communion is more than a ritual — it is a holy moment to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, renew our faith, and recommit our lives to Him. Practiced quarterly in Adventist churches, the Communion service invites every believer to examine their heart and receive God’s grace anew.
🍞 What Happens During Communion?
The Seventh-day Adventist Communion service includes:
Foot washing (Ordinance of Humility) – a symbol of service and forgiveness, modeled after Jesus washing His disciples’ feet
Unleavened bread and grape juice – representing Christ’s sinless body and shed blood
Personal reflection and prayer – a time to confess, forgive, and draw close to God
Communion is open to all believers who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.
🙏 Why It Matters
Communion is a call to remember:
Christ’s love displayed on the cross
Our ongoing need for spiritual renewal
The unity of believers in the body of Christ
The promise of Christ’s soon return
Each time we participate, we proclaim, “Jesus died for me… and He’s coming again!”
📣 Join Us
We encourage every member and guest to participate fully in this sacred time. Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, God meets us powerfully at the table of grace.
